Only two more days until I arrive in NYC (train gets in at 9:50pm), and I am super excited. I wanted to do NYC for my birthday this year, and spending that time with friends. I leave for NYC on Thursday, 26 July and return Wednesday, 1 August, which means I have 5 full days in the city. YAY ( Read more... )

So, yesterday, I drove down to Bangor, Maine and stayed overnight. Today I make my trek down to New York City. Woke up obscenely early - an hour ahead of my alarm (so, at 4:30am instead of 5:30). Got washed up and dressed and checked out of hotel and got ride to Coach lines from Bangor to Portland. I had a 3hr wait in Portland now I'm on the train ( Read more... )

On 9th March I leave to head to New York, though the first part of the trip is going down to Bangor, ME the evening before as the bus from Bangor to Portland leaves at 7am. Then I get the train from Portland to Boston, and then Boston to New York City. It'll be a long day of travel but I don't mind. I've done long train trips before - to Chicago in ( Read more... )

What an amazing weekend. Got home tonight about 8:45pm. Long drive, but at least this time we broke up the drive over two days. On Friday morning (at 4am), sealiliy, techservlib and I headed for the long drive from Fredericton, NB, down to New York City.
